The Paris utilizes 12 gauge material—exceeding industry standards—and measures 2" thick. The door contains a steel threshold, bullet hinges with grease fittings, and tabs with pre-drilled holes welded on the jamb for easier installation. Moreover, the product features 5/8" tempered dual pane operable glass designs that incorporate dual sealing, resulting in greater energy efficiency. This Paris Thermally Broken - Single Flat model also features Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping to minimize temperature transfer. To block out noise, light, drafts, insects, moisture, smoke and fire, a door sweep is included and mounted to the bottom of the door.
