The Golden Gate product is built from strong 12-gauge materials for its frame and has 2-inch thick doors with a steel threshold. It has easily installable bullet hinges with grease fittings and pre-drilled tabs. The 5/8" tempered dual-pane glass of the product has dual sealing to improve energy efficiency and minimize heat and air leakage. We use Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping on our frames to prevent hot and cold air from passing through. Additionally, we add a door sweep at the base of your door to seal any gaps and stop noise, light, drafts, insects, moisture, smoke, and fire from entering.
